A Hezbollah official confirmed on Tuesday that Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah is “fine and unharmed” after a series of explosions involving wireless communication devices (pagers), specifically pagers, across Lebanon.

The explosions, which occurred in multiple cities, resulted in the deaths of 8 people, including a child, and left 2,750 others injured, with 200 in critical condition, according to Lebanese Health Minister Dr. Firass Abiad.

Hezbollah stated that the affected pagers were used by members and institutions within the party.

The group pledged that the Israeli Occupation would face appropriate retribution for its actions.

Hezbollah emphasized that their response will be strategically timed and unexpected.
